Early Beginnings

Infant Care (6 Weeks to 15 Months)

Infants need to feel loved, happy and secure. Honey Bee Academy provides a warm and cozy environment where infant care is based on your child’s unique schedule and personal nutritional requirements. Our highly trained staff ensures all your infant’s emotional and physical needs are met and works to create experiences that help your child grow and take notice of their surrounding world.

The Nursery at Honey Bee Academy is designed to stimulate your child’s senses, providing safe areas that promote:

Warmth and Comfort – Infant teachers use this area for one-on-one time, and begin your child’s journey to learning by singing lullabies, naming objects and exploring picture books about people, places, animals and familiar objects.

Movement – Your baby will develop their gross motor skills by enjoying physical activities such as; baby bouncers, soft climbers, mats, push and pull toys, etc.

Exploration – Infants begin to learn early math concepts of shape and size; soft blocks, knobbed puzzles and other manipulatives.

Our commitment to help our children “go above and bee-yond” ensures you are kept informed of your child’s progress and development. A daily log of your child’s feeding, sleeping and diapering behaviors will be provided.
